This commissioned painting came about when a precious lady came into our gallery. She desired to have a beautiful painting for her home. We went with her to the location where she and her husband had taken walks together for more than 20 years. We were invited to her home and a special size was determined to go perfectly over her beautiful living room fireplace. In the painting, Point Lobos is on the left and Pebble Beach is on the right.

Del was born and raised in California. He is married and the father of three children. After college he began what he considers an ongoing life style of being self-taught. During his late twenties, he began his own sign/graphics business. Later he became art director for two electric sign corporations, one being the nation’s largest. He has freelanced doing full color architectural renderings for architects and developers in California and Nevada. For many years Del has had a strong passion for the ocean.
