Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I had this incredible and dramatic image deep inside of me. It was so vivid that I worked and reworked this painting many times to reproduce the lighting and color impact that I desired to achieve. The light is breaking through the clouds, going deep and illuminating the darkened water and moving up the ship's massive sails. With the clipper ship just pushing through an intense storm, I used blue sky to show the breaking up of the storm and mauve in the sky and waves that showed the remnant of the storm. The message is that if we will persevere and trust God even in the toughest times of our life, we will "come through the storm."

Del was born and raised in California. He is married and the father of three children. After college he began what he considers an ongoing life style of being self-taught. During his late twenties, he began his own sign/graphics business. Later he became art director for two electric sign corporations, one being the nation’s largest. He has freelanced doing full color architectural renderings for architects and developers in California and Nevada. For many years Del has had a strong passion for the ocean.
