I competed in Utah's first Duck Stamp Competition in 1987. This is a painting at the Black Hawk Duck Club in Utah with the Wasatch Mountains in the background. I worked from professional mounts for accuracy.

Del was born and raised in California. He is married and the father of three children. After college he began what he considers an ongoing life style of being self-taught. During his late twenties, he began his own sign/graphics business. Later he became art director for two electric sign corporations, one being the nation’s largest. He has freelanced doing full color architectural renderings for architects and developers in California and Nevada. For many years Del has had a strong passion for the ocean.
