This location is just before you reach the tall, towering cliff area at Big Sur. The sky has a lot of movement, reflected in the action of the surf below. I tried to capture the motion and direction of the foam on the sloping, sandy beach. When you actually witness a scene like this, it is not easily forgotten.
Del was born and raised in California. He is married and the father of three children. After college he began what he considers an ongoing life style of being self-taught. During his late twenties, he began his own sign/graphics business. Later he became art director for two electric sign corporations, one being the nation’s largest.
